Research Interests:

Sarah is a recent graduate of UBC’s Faculty of Forestry, where she attained her BSc in Natural Resource Conservation with an emphasis in global perspectives.  Throughout her undergraduate degree, Sarah expressed particular interest in the integration of landscape ecology and geospatial applications for environmental management, as well as sustainable forest management and energy policy. Her undergraduate research addressed the resource and emissions intensity of energy development namely in the Athabasca region, incorporating life-cycle and geospatial analyses.

Currently, her research assesses the development of low-carbon economies and the potential for carbon market linkage, in addition to providing and evaluating sustainable forest management strategies in the Asia-Pacific region.
