Research Interests

My research focuses on climate change mitigation, forest and bamboo carbon sequestration, nature-based solutions, life cycle assessment, and carbon markets. I am particularly interested in how land-based systems can contribute to climate action through credible carbon accounting, sustainable management, and effective policy and market mechanisms.

My work examines the roles of forest and bamboo ecosystems in carbon storage, climate mitigation, and sustainable development, with particular attention to the design and integrity of carbon offset projects. I am also interested in international climate policy, especially Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and in how evolving global carbon market frameworks shape the development of high-integrity nature-based solutions.
